When choosing
a golf club shafting adhesive, consider the following:
• Color
• Set-time
• Viscosity
• Type of shaft
• How material is being applied
For example, if your primary consideration is the set-time of the
epoxy (e.g. 10 minutes) and your second consideration is color (e.g.
Black), then based on your requirements you would select the
EP-727A/B. If your primary consideration is color (e.g. Black), you
will have to choose between 8 epoxies. To narrow your search, you
need a second factor, such as type of shaft. If you are shafting
graphite shafts exclusively, the 16756A/8200B would be your choice.
If set-time, color or any of the other characteristics are of no
concern, then the 3243A/B epoxy will meet your shafting needs. (See
Selection
Table)
You can remove the confusion in the shafting epoxy selection
process by:
1. Defining what epoxy characteristics are important to your
shafting requirements, and
2. Prioritizing those characteristics.
This will simplify the selection process and ensure you have the
right epoxy for your shafting needs. |
