Cartridge Application Technologies® (CAT) Introduction:
CAT is a patented, first-of-its-kind paint delivery system that enables the user to spray material directly from a pre-filled, plastic cartridge. Materials are dispensed or sprayed though a disposable static mixer using a manual or pneumatic powered applicator gun.
Advantages of CAT® are:
- Only takes minutes to set-up and start spray applying material
- Suitable for single and plural component system
- Uses solvent resistant cartridges
- Accommodates mix ratios from 1:1 to 25:1
- Eliminates hand or batch mixing
- Material is mixed correctly and on-ratio every time
- Both cartridge and spray tip static mixer are 100% disposable
- Minimizes material waste (less than 1%)
- Closed system reduces applicator exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOC)
- No lines to flush (Quad 3000 excepted)
- Minimal air pressure required (100 psi, 8-12 cfm)
- Fraction of the cost of a large, plural component system
- Partially used cartridges can be re-capped and re-used
- Perfect for small to medium size applications
